A family run, hard-working machine shop based in Connecticut. We hit the ground running with our direct approach to finding successful solutions to our customer's needs. All of our empolyees are trained for mastering a high level of precision manufacturing and quality.
Wade R. Moore
Design Engineer

Wade graduated UConn with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2013 and is taking classes towards his M.S. in Material Science in Engineering, also at UConn.

Wade oversees the creative direction at Moore Engineering as well as customer interactions. Wade was inspired as a kid by his grandfather and father's businesses, and shares a passion for CNC machine technologies with his brothers.

 

Russell Moore
Design Engineer

Russell essentially composes the whole innovative branch of Moore Engineering, at age 12 he devoloped two patents for toy inventions. He recieved his Associates Degree from a local community college in 2011 at age 18. Russell is currently stationed in El Paso, TX as A Specialist in the U.S. Army. We look forward to his return to finish his B.S. degree and increase our productivity.

Hayes Moore
Manufacturing Engineer

Hayes completed a year-long manufacturing certificate program at the age of 15, since then he has been hooked on creating tooling and fixturing for the company. He is an extremely hard worker and his imput to Moore Engineering is without bounds. 

 

Hayes designs parts in CAD, and is a talented Milling and Wire EDM machinist.

 

 

Colton Moore
Design Engineer

Colton loves working with others. He started his interest in mechanics at a very young age, rebuilding engines on his farm.

 

Colton is a fast learner in school, but also enjoys working with his hands. Colton's perserverance with his studies and learning the trade makes him an invaluable employee.

Paul Meyer
Controls Engineer

Paul specializes in controls and logic for automated processes. He is currently leading a project to automate high capacity sortings of small parts. Paul is working towards his degree in astrophyics, and shares an interest in automated manufacturing.

James G. Moore
Senior Scientist

After recieving his physics degree at Yale University, Jim has worked in his field for over 30 years, developing processes for laser machining and advanced techniques for manufacturing. Jim's passion to share his applied research among others makes him a truly remarkable person to work with and helps innovate ideas.

Stacy Cook
Project Manager

Stacy is driven to make moore engineering succeed. She holds the reins for all ongoing projects and manages team members towards their goals. She makes schedules and assigns deadlines for all projects and monitors them closely, diving in head first to speed up projects when deadlines are missed.

Max Eastus
CAD Designer

Max is our mascot of maximum effort. He never gives up on us, and does whatever it takes to make work a fun environment to be in. At such a young age, he has already discovered the value of innovation. He enjoys learning solidworks at his high school and he is always eager to learn and be a part of any project that involves a challenge.

Nichole Dineson
Manufacturing Engineer

Nikki has developed her passion for manufacturing and innovation from her heritage at Hubble. She has experience running CNC waterjet systems and is taking manufacturing classes at a local community college.

 

She leads moore engineering towards faster manufacturing processes utilizing 5-axis.
